I tried to run a KOER test (to get to a cylinder balance test) but the engine only revs up to 3500 rpm and stays there until I shut down the test. The DTC is a 411- could not control rpm something or other. I tightened down my hose clamps on the intake to rule out a vacuum leak - all other lines that I can think of and see appear to be ok. I don't feel any air leaks but I'm sure there is a better way of testing for air leaks.
Any ideas? What would normally spit out a 411?
Just to recap - the car sounds and feels like it's running on 5 cylinders at 3/4 and WOT. Part throttle around town seems fine.
I do have a 190 lph and the stock FPR. It's been fine for years- is it possible that my fuel pressure is too high all of a sudden? I know - the only way to know for sure is to hook up a gauge. I think that might be one of the next things I do.
Thanks,
Ian
