Purchased a 1999 Taurus SHO V8. I don't have the code for the keyless entry. Thought it was in the glove box or on the spare tire cover, but no dice. Anyone know where it is found?

Use the search function, look for a white sticker on a box just above the gas pedal.

There ya go.
Sorry, i saw that the other day and i had to do it.

WHO in there right mind would pay anything for that kinda info? I could call my dealership right now and ask them if they know where to find my door code and they would just tell me! Over the phone without making me bring the car in... Or you could just be a memeber of this forum and ask!!! OMG what people will waste money on.

It's underneath the dash on the drivers side. I spent two hours and was able to recover it. Let me see if I have a picture...

I don't have a picture of it, look for an off-white box with a big sticker on the side. It's on that case, 5 digit number. I was able to get three numbers off of it, and the other two had electrical tape covering them up. I had to guess till I got it right!

Well worth it though and satisfying to be able to open the door with the keys locked in it.

If it helps any, I used a compact mirror to read the numbers on the sticker. With the sticker on the right side of the box (facing the console), it was easier than contorting myself into an emergency room.

You can take the football out and see the module fairly easily.

this was a great tip. the box is located right above the gas pedal, and the stickers are on the side that you cant see. definately a mirror was the easiest way, as long as you can read backwards :p
