just bought the car, no remotes and only an ignition key. no owners manual or paperwork. typical. :nut:
i know in my Gen II's the code was in the trunk on the module.

any location of a factory code on a GenIII. i sure could use it

On the RAP module, upside down and facing the passenger's side.

Hope it ain't taped over...

You already know the price for replacement remotes.

its taped over. first two numbers i know. couldnt get the label seperated even with some heat. Fall River Ford says they can pull it for $40 w/ their scanner but i figured i got more important things to sort out first. and im sure you guys might have tricks regarding this.

Leave the tape on there. I know all the tricks.

...or when i get the title tomorow, call up the previous owner, be polite and ask them if they even know what cam welding is, if its been done and if they know the code to the door. if they dont remember i do know the first two digits, i could refresh their memory...:)
