Keyfob Confusing me

Alright i had a 94 sho and i hooked up 2 fobs to it- right?? Well , now i got this 91 sho and i went looking for the jumper in the trunk- hummm nothing there- i went looking under glovebox- humm nothing there- so now im thinking to myself i wonder if the 91 sho can even have a keyfob- i hope they can and im just not finding the connector so please can some shed some light on how to do this or let me know its infact impossible....thanx

Not all SHO's came with a remote keyless entry. If you look in the trunk of your 94, you will see a black box in the upper left corner...the box will say if it has remote keyless entry. If this box is not there in the 91, or doesn't specify remote keyless entry, you can't do it. Unless you want to go buy the unit.

no i have the black box for the keyless entry system- i have all that but what i cant find is the connector to jump to program the keyfobs on it- so my question is where is this jumper and if i dont have a jumper it might mean i have keyless entry but no keyfobs correct????

You will have keyless entry. That only covers the keypad on the door above the handle. But if the box in the back doesn't have the jumper, then you will not have remote keyless entry, unless you buy a new box.

91's did not come with remote keyless entry

Remote keyless wasn't even available until the 93 model year. If you have a 93-95 with the keyless pad on the door, it has remote capability. No 92 or older SHO's had remote keyless entry from the factory.

My 91 has remote keyless entry. I believe it came from the factory that way. I think it was an option that you could get. The guy I bought it off of got every possible option on this car.

I get my fobs from my dad he ha sa whole stash hidden at his office at work- look on the back of the remote and if the numbers match up u can use it for the sho- there like 3 dfferent kinds of key fobs- not hard to hookup but it sux for me that i have 3 fobs here doing nothing since ym 91 doesnt have the option grr...time to put remote starter in but to bad my emergency brak edont work so i cant use it since mine is a stick dont i have problems lol...i think my claipers r sticking so my brake dont work like its frozen or crap...

Any car can have remote keyless entry, it just wasn't a factory option till 93 on the SHO. As a matter of fact, the first ford car to get factory remote keyless entry was the continental in 92. Your 91 has a dealer installed remote system, manufactured by codealarm.
