SHOrod;. But it's also just about as convenient to press the lock button at the inside door handle as I open the door. -Rod[/QUOTE said:
BUT, my wife's always leaving her key inside somewhere-and if you lock the door on the way out the horn honks and everything unlocks. So you have to lock it with the keypad. It's aggravating when it won't work-I'll try the rolling the thumb thing.

I've used the rolling thumb method several times now, since SHOrod posted it, and it has worked every time so far.

Two stage unlocking may be disabled or re-enabled by simultaneously pressing the lock and unlock controls on the transmitter for four seconds
(disabling two stage unlock allows all vehicle doors to unlock simultaneously). The parking lamps will illuminate twice to indicate that two-stage unlock was enabled or disabled.
If equipped with IA key, when two stage unlocking is disabled, intelligent access at the driver’s door results in an unlock of all doors (not just the driver door).

:thankyou:

worked perfectly now the gf doesn't have to b i tch about not unlocking the door for her
