kenwood mp3 player

I have got a kdc-mpv6022 mpc/cd player that won't play mp3 but will play regular cd's. Has anyone run into this problem with kenwood products before and is there a easy fix?

sounds like a manufacture defect. if it is bring it back to where you bought for an exchange. ive had kenwood head units in the past and never had any probs with them. in fact i have a 8017 in my sho now. but did you download your music as audio data? well good luck.
