So I just installed the LMS downpipes and put on the new tune. One thing with the tune was it didn't have the mods listed for the tstat or DP. On the tuner it just said 93 v8 3 BAR tune. Now I'm not throwing any CEL and seems to be running fine but I figured I would see if anyone else ran into this as well recently.

Another thing I noticed is some new noises, now im sure this is common with downpipes but i wanted to make sure. While driving I was hearing a honking/vibration type noise usually under light throttle or right after i left off the throttle and started coasting. Did here it once or twice higher in the RPM around when i gave it a moderate amount of gas though.

When i got home in the garage. i put it in park and revved over 3k and as soon as i let off the throttle i heard a fairly loud vibration/rattle everytime for a half second or so. I took a video of it im going to try to get posted, tomorrow im also going to get under it and double check if anything might be loose.

The honk is normal, your turbos are spooling up faster and you have more boost. That's just the BOV making that noise, no biggy. The rattle, just double check the front downpipe tube, making sure its not hitting the subframe crossmember. You can loosen the clap and twist some to give it some clearance and tighten back up.

Just like we talked about Kyle, there will be several noises that will be far more audible now that you have released the excess back pressure on the exhaust side of the turbo. As for the code, I said if the car did happen to throw a CEL to plug in the tuner, and let me know what the code is. It is likely just a catalyst efficiency code that is being thrown...that will not hurt anything. If you email me VIA the [email protected] address I will take care of you.

Luckily now codes have been thrown, and its running fine so i think the tune is good. Must have just been mislabeled like you said.
