Just pulled some codes, need some help

So I pulled some codes, and this is what I got.

335 (O) EGR feedback signal is/was out of range - EVR or PFE
117 (O,M) ECT sensor is/was low or grounded - ECT
217 (M) Primary circuit failure - ignition coil 3 - Ignition Systems
633 (O) 4x4L switch should be in 4x2 or 4x4 high for the test
654 (O) Transmission selector not in PARK - Transmissions

LOL @ last one, no duh because I had it in neutral.

Anybody want to give me some help?

It's a 94 SHO...and it runs fine. Just needs a 60k

clean the intake manifold at the computer will see the egr again.

Obviously, you can disregard the last two....as you stated the car was in neutral, and I have yet to see a 4x4 SHO with a functioning transfer case.

Seeing as how you told me this afternoon that the battery was pulled for the power steering pump about 2 weeks ago, it's safe to assume that these codes are reasonably fresh, so we'll start from the top...

335- EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) Valves on these cars are notorious pieces of shit. Ask richard...I replaced the one on the 94 twice, and it STILL threw a code for it. I believe someone mentioned cleaning out the intake or something, but I never bothered with it. EGR isn't that important to me, since I don't have one on my 95.

117 - ECT, if I remember correctly, is a $3 part that bolts in place right next to your thermostat housing. Even if it's not bad, it's so easy to change and cheap, ya may as well.

That 217 could be a number of things...could be a malfunctioning DIS module, cam sensor, or coil. Three are easy, two aren't cheap.

ECT sensor is about $20-30,thats the big one that the ECU uses to see what you coolant temp is. Tim,your thinking of the small one that the temp gauge gets its reading from. id replace that to be safe,and get to that 60K as soon as you can. 217 could be as simple as a plug or wire.
