Just get it tuned up, oil leaks fixed, and throw a dry nitrous kit in it. The bolt-ons will never get you as quick as the nitrous, and the small gains over time if you build it up slow, will not tickle your needs to feel faster. Start adding bolt-ons after that, a y-pipe being the first mod.

Maintenance is the key to having fun in these cars. I don't believe there are too many cheap mods for the SHO. What part of Utah are you in? I lived in Ogden for a while.

Get a blower or leave it stock. Everything else is a ton of money for little gain.

Out in front!
Get a blower blow about three motors and Everything else spend a ton of money and a whole lot of time blood sweat tears for little gain.

Fixed^

n2o = win

If I had it to do over I woulda saved about 4g's and only spent 2 on a badass 2stage direct port /fogger progressive n20 setup .

N20 FTW.

I looked into blowers and turbos, but TOO much $$$!!

Bolt-ons, suspension, and 75 shot!:woo-hoo:

Now just need some money.

OP: Make sure ALL maintenance is done before anything else. :omgsho:

Gotta agree with maint. first. Bought my first SHO last year and have spent all the time/$$ so far just getting the engine/suspension back to solid OEM and its sooo much more fun now! My buddy has a 99 SVT Contour and we are even until he punches his 50 shot nitrous then he's gone....so 1 more paycheck then ill be the proud owner of a ZEX kit too....and just in time for track season! WIN!
