Just found a sho....I never knew!

Hey guys,just bought a sho,great car never knew theat a tuarus could ahve tihs kinda power...... anyways lookin to put some money into it (not too much its automatic)but was wonderin what some good cheap upgrades would be for some power

There are a few mods out there that can increase hp.. but not by much(without spending major bucks). This motor was designed very well by Yamaha.

My opinion, just keep the maint. up, and spray it with a 50shot.

i was thinkin on gettin a cold air intake and maybe 80mm maf unit think that would hlp i mean its only an auotmatic lol...now that i know about these cars i HAVE to get a stick lol

CAI is taken care of from the factory, 80mm MAF will only work with a tune (SCT, TwEECer). Some automatics are ok

ya i got uh tune up oil changes tires and all new brake systm on front end so far...still have a litlle leakage issue on radiator need to get it upin the air

It's worth a few HP, and does add some nice sound. And yes, the stock box IS a CAI.

oh really ...wow......but a new cai would boost little and have better sound?? thats col with me lol and about the 80mm maf unit i have to have tweek for that sho source .com sells it pre tuned so u dont have to i think

It's not an 80mm unit. It's like the one pictured in my sig, Pro-M 75mm.

No, I meant that the upgraded MAF w/ the CAI (like the one on ebay) would be worth a few hp and have better sound.
