Hold on there!
Replacement plugs can be had for under $4 each from multiple sources. AGSP-32PP as I recall, from FordPartsNetwork, are $3.99. That's $24 (not $65) for new ones).
You can check the resistence of the plug wires (if you have a multimeter that measures ohms) and make sure they're okay.
Also, you don't really need the valve cover gaskets, but rather you need the donut-shaped spark plug tube seals that comes with the valve cover gasket set (Fel-Pro brand).
Once you get the oil and gunk out of the plug wells, and you replace the spark plugs, there's a way you can probably minimize the amount of oil that's forced by your plug well seals into the wells. Paul N. (SHOZ123) has determined that by removing the PCV fresh air hose (or whatever it's called) that runs from the front valve cover to the throttle body (and capping the openings) the pressure is greatly reduced, and this should minimize the oil being forced around your plug well seals into the wells.
I would clean out the plug wells, replace the plugs, perform this mod suggested by Paul, and enjoy...at least for awhile!
Good luck.
