Hey guys, I did some maintenance on the SHO today and I am leavin for the dragstrip in less than an hour. I did plugs, intake gasket, valve cover gaskets, and plug well gaskets. I didn't do plug wires because I am picking them up from Beth on Friday. So, under normal throttle it does ok but when I get into it, it loses all power from 2-3k and then kicks back in and runs fine. I am assuming it is a spark issue of some sort beacuse it feels like a missfire. Any ideas or things to check? I am trying to make the track tonite and see what she will do.

Thanx a ton

I would agree that it sounds wire related. It's so hard to tell with the spark plugs recessed in the heads. If you have old wires, you could swap them? Double check there's no oil in the wells. All else fails, the misfire should help you launch that Yamaha without instantly going up in smoke! :burn_out:
