Intake manifold is going to get the same matte black I believe! Hot pipes still orange so it'll be a nice contrast back and forth.Think I just ****** in my pants a little...
Intake manifold gonna get the same treatment?
I'm almost thinking if it was orange....sittin in between those black valve covers....might be nice...Intake manifold is going to get the same matte black I believe! Hot pipes still orange so it'll be a nice contrast back and forth.
Will have to see if it's too much between the hot pipes and what not! Might be a cool idea. Guess I can always repaint some of the piping.I'm almost thinking if it was orange....sittin in between those black valve covers....might be nice...
had to ask @Ecoboost_xsport yesterday a completely obvious question... So no LOL it's a guessing game at this point!Looks good! I would never remember what parts go where. You must have a photographic memory.
I usually can't remember every little detail myself, especially if there is any length of time involved between teardown and install.Looks good! I would never remember what parts go where. You must have a photographic memory.

One of the reasons why I take so many pics...great for reference. Makes me realize how much more difficult all this probably was back in the days before the advent of digital photography being in the hands of the average person.
And don't forget totes...lotsa plastics totes, lol. I had an entire Harley in totes, ziplocks and dividers on a dedicated shelf when I did my frame-up restoration, lol.Pics along with paper/sharpie/and zip lock bags are a life saver.

You may find yourself having to pull those out and installing it on the rail...Xdi+50 injectors installed and waiting on timing to be done so I can install valve covers, rails, lines and hpfp
He mentioned doing what he did above when I was asking him questions installing mine, I believe this is how he installed his OEM injectors back when he had to replace them all.You may find yourself having to pull those out and installing it on the rail...
Ah, more than one way to skin that cat, I see. I had tried that method first, but it didn't work for me. The wire harness turned into the issue. But I may not have worked through it all the way. Gave up and went the other route. He mentioned doing what he did above when I was asking him questions installing mine, I believe this is how he installed his OEM injectors back when he had to replace them all.
At this point, must be the clips slip over the top, connect the wire harnesses....pop on the rail? I would think connecting the harness might be hard at this point but it must be it’s not too bad.
