So turns out I'm missing the secondary or cam timing chain tensioners and they will be in Tuesday but otherwise I'm waiting on intake manifold until Wednesday. So tentative plans to be running next week...

In the mean time.. is this considered copyright infringement @bpd1151?? Jkjk it's just primer

Looks good! I would never remember what parts go where. You must have a photographic memory.
I usually can't remember every little detail myself, especially if there is any length of time involved between teardown and install.

One of the reasons why I take so many pics...great for reference. Makes me realize how much more difficult all this probably was back in the days before the advent of digital photography being in the hands of the average person.

Pics along with paper/sharpie/and zip lock bags are a life saver.

And don't forget totes...lotsa plastics totes, lol. I had an entire Harley in totes, ziplocks and dividers on a dedicated shelf when I did my frame-up restoration, lol.
I used a mixture of ten magnetic trays and plastic bags

You may find yourself having to pull those out and installing it on the rail...
He mentioned doing what he did above when I was asking him questions installing mine, I believe this is how he installed his OEM injectors back when he had to replace them all.

At this point, must be the clips slip over the top, connect the wire harnesses....pop on the rail? I would think connecting the harness might be hard at this point but it must be it’s not too bad.

Ah, more than one way to skin that cat, I see. I had tried that method first, but it didn't work for me. The wire harness turned into the issue. But I may not have worked through it all the way. Gave up and went the other route.
