I have the two amps, as well as the radio choke box. The question I have is in regard to how the Sub connects to the amplifier itself. The sub I bought only had a wire coming out of the box, it was missing the actual connection itself.

The only connection remaining on the sub amp is the 10 pin that I believe faces the passenger side. I have a regular JBL system in the car now, but am adding the subwoofer. If anyone could give me some pointers on how this connects. I've searched on here, and found a wiring diagram but that doesn't exactly help me figure out just where it physically connects.

Thanks

That 10pin you see ,is the output for the sub, there is a connector that goes in there and then goes out to your sub.In the last 2 pics you can see the connector, sorry for the picture quality,my camera stinks. There are 2 wire coming out the connector that go to your sub.

Thanks for that. I was hoping that was the connection. Now my question is this. Which pins are the positive and negative for that plug, and are you able to determine if any of those other pins are jumpered?

Hopefully if there is just a positive and negative I will be able to hook these speakers up tomorrow with just a little finesse.

Alternately, if anyone happens to have an old plug for the sub that they've done away with by upgrading, I would be more than happy to acquire that from you. I was a bit disappointed when mine arrived with just two bare wires at the end.

Well there is a black/green wire, and then black/white wire in that plug. I checked the plug, there are no jumpers in it.I will show you in the pic where the 2 wires are coming from on the sub amp, 2 prongs. They are circled in yellow those are the 2 prongs to which the connector connects with. You will see the prongs in the pic ,on the bottom there is 4 of them, 2 on 1 side 2 on the other, its those 2 you need.As far as the prongs I believe the outer one blk/wht is the ground, and the inner one blk/grn is positive.

Didn't have time to hook it up today, just got done soldering leads to those two pins on the amp. With luck and a little time all should go well. Thanks again. I'll shoot some high res pics of those plugs too. Maybe an article could be put together on exactly how everything goes, just so it's all in one consolidated piece.

Worked like a charm. Thank you so much. I'll be taking some high res pics of those connectors. The hardest part was getting the damned sub bolted in. I need to find a grill to cover up the hole I had to cut in the rear deck too.

Again, thanks.
