I was told that all SHO's are pre-wired for the cd player. My friend has a 95 with just a tape deck, and just got the factory CD player(nothing else with it). We went to put it in, but I don't see the two connections that go to the cd player. Do I have to buy these? How do I hook it up? Thanks.

1st and 2nd gen car are not pre wired for a CD player. You must add the wiring yourself.
What and where do I get this from? Is it a wiring harness that I get from Ford??

Thanks.

By the looks of it, I am missing 1 or 2 wires that go from the tape deck to the CD deck.

Is the right? two go from the head unit to the CD player??

There are three separate cables; an audio loop, a ground, and power.
The audio and groud connect between the cassette and cd unit. The power is integrated to the dash wiring harness. You will have to tap into alternate power if your car does not already have it. shrug

So I guess I have to go out and find a wiring harness out of a SHO that had a CD player.
