For raising the front, I usually put the jack in the middle of the front subframe crossmember, and put the jackstands on the side beams, back by the tires, to keep them out of the way. For the back, I use the control-arm box. Probably not the best place to do it, but the only place I could find.

Had the same thing happen to me once eek!

right in the cornner of the wheel well and the front door if you look at that rail there will be a 2 inch part that looks like it is reinforced, thats where you will put the jackstand. you can use the rail behind to temp jack up the car.

Maybe i should have titled the post.. "on what location do you place the jack/jackstands to properly raise your vehicle safely and effectively off the ground, so you may crawl underneath it" :p

The front i also use the center front of the sub frame. The rear i use a block of wood on the jack, and raise it by the H-brace.When i did teh aluminum sfb`s,i had to put the stands just behind the suf frame on the rails. The whole car flexed a few inches!!I guess i need sfc`s thumbs_u
