Ugh.. I hate Wisconsin weather sometimes. I came home from work a little early but still not a chance to get out there and try some things.

its the same amp rating for 3.0 from 89-93, so she would be fine with that... unless youre saying that she might need a new one altogether, but if it works she'd be fine with that one

OK, here's another "symptom" of whatever problem my car has... sometimes when I blip the throttle to revmatch when I downshift I can hear a backfire from under the hood.. Yesterday on the way home from work I downshifted from 5th to 4th to start slowing down to make a left turn and when I blipped the throttle I got a fairly loud bang and the guy next to me looked over like

It did it a couple of times today too...

Well I took the car to the mechanic to have the y-pipe replaced (he's close so I didn't have to drive the car far and I took it really easy). With the new O2's the CEL never came on, so that's really cool :thumb:

Hopefully replacing the cats will fix the bogging issue the car had, and then all that's left is the slightly rough idle. So far so good

It's just another used stocker I got for cheap from someone on the forum... I was considering getting a used MidwestSHO highflow y-pipe from someone here for $225 shipped but I just couldn't justify the money for a car that is primarily winter transportation.
