I need the front passenger side steering knuckle for a 95 MTX. I imagine that any 2nd gen MTX or ATX knuckle would be compatible. Does anyone know if the SHO has a unique knuckle or if it's the same as the base Taurus/Sable? Also is the 1st gen steering knuckle the same as the 2nd gen?

Hi Dan,

I believe you are correct. SHOSource has rebuilt spindles and the 94-95 are different from the 89-93. I did the research I should have done before I posted this thread and determined that the part number of the 94-95 right side knuckle w/ABS is F3OY3K185A. That part is shared with all other trim levels of the 94-95 Taurus that have ABS, all 94-95 Sables that have ABS and the 93-94 Lincoln Continental. So if anyone else is looking for the same info later, there it is.

I made an offer on one that was for sale by an eBay junkyard so if that gets declined I'll let you know. Thanks!

Will do! Thanks a lot! Worst case scenario I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a rebuilt one from SHOSource. A new wheel bearing and a new ABS sensor would be a nice bonus. I got a new control arm from them and they seem to have good quality stuff. A bit slow to ship orders but they are careful to stock the correct parts, which is appreciated. Lots of parts stores try to sell the base model control arms to SHO owners. The non-SHO control arms are slightly different and while they may fit, I would prefer to get the correct part.
