Well, today I took my EX-car for a litttle ride and I noticed A LOT of torque steer when I laid into the throttle. It pulls hard to the left. Am I too used to the rear drive Mustang or is there something wrong? Thanks!

Something's wrong: tire pressures different from side to side, tire size, different tire tread depth, out of spec alignment or something else, but the SHO is not a notorious torque steering platform.

I would heavily suggest checking the front motor mount. Mine had gobs of torque steer, which I PERSONALLY didn't mind, it kinda added a little "spice" into spinning 2nd, but the other people in the car didn't like putting their trust in my one remaining, non shifting hand on the wheel when the car ****** as much as it did.

Got a new sho nut extreme front mount, and they couldn't be happier :D

Also, I went from the fron rising about 4" to more like 1/2" with Josh's mount.

Enjoy

When I took my car out of storage for the first time in five years at the tail end of the summer, I toasted my front motor mount within a few days. Torque steer was ridiculous after that. I passed a slow moving car on a two lane highway in third gear and damn near ended up in the ditch on the left hand side of the road. And that was with both hands on the wheel! I have since installed a custom solid front mount, but have yet to drive the car with it. It is back in the garage getting more maintainence and upgrades.

Most likely you have a bad motor mount. But you will get SOME torque steer from a front wheel drive car with 220 horsies. I don't agree with SDPatt with the statement "the SHO is not a notorious torque steering platform." Everyone that I have talked to, including mechanics (that know about the SHO), friends, strangers have all said that the SHO throws out a lot of torque steer. Every SHO that I have driven has torque steer. But like i said before, check your motor mounts per www.shotimes.com . Hope this helps.
