Is there a flat trunk trim insert?

I hate the bar across the back and am looking for something flat/color matching or paintable to cover the space. I don't want to paint the chrome, just remove/replace. Any ideas are welcome!

The stupid bar and the Ford Emblem are one piece IIRC. Also, the back up camera is housed in it too. Best option, is paint match the chrome because I dont know of any other piece that could replace it.

I will be in the process of stripping the chrome pieces off my car and paint matching it.

I believe the emblem is separate but you have to remove the chrome piece to get it off. As said there is nothing. You either have to get it wrapped or painted.

Or have a body shop fill the void and paint Doubt that it would be THAT expensive. It would look great....far better than painting the chrome or wrapping it.

If you mean completely removing the chrome piece and filling in the trunk panel you would lose the back up camera and the tail lights would have notches in them. I agree that would look great but $$$ to do it right.

Has anyone ever tried that black chrome spray paint? I was considering trying that on all the brightwork.

I've read mixed results. Some people say that after multiple car washes, it starts to peel off.
