Hi there!

I think one of my motor mount is gone. I think It's the front onw but I need your advice.

When I accelerate hard, the ALT idler pulley hit the battery tray (making all kind of funny noises) And the engine moves. There is a sweet spot over the 24 of the "24 valve" on the intake. There is 2 videos of the engine bay, the first one is a close up of the front side of the engine with engine cranking, and engine start. Second is a global engine bay video while I'm depressing the clutch. Both times I did it in first gear a couple times, and after in reverse.

Idler pulley, about 1/2 inch under the battery tray, and still hit it when accelerating.

Thanks a lot! :thumb:

All that work taking pix and videos and you could have just jacked up the car, put a couple jack stands under it, and poked around with a flashlight for 2 minutes and had your answer! :bonk:

I have two broken motor mounts on my MTX... And after 20k there was no mark at all on the intake. I never use that as a tool to check. But yea, change those mounts.

I called at my local ford dealer, just to see, and the MM there cost more than shonut's. So I guess I'll order new ones.

I've got to look under last night, and since those MM are pretty well hidden by everything, and I don't know exactly what a broken MM looks like, I didn't find anything. Exept that I need to change my SFB because it's moving from left to right when steering.
