I had my 90 pulled to a ford dealer to be diagnosed since i was unable to do it. they salesguy called me and said the "integral relay module" was bad. I said the Integrated relay control module and he said yes. he said they tested the voltage going into the ircm and it was bad. My question is can i replace the relays in the ircm by just soldering in new ones? is this a better way to go?

ok I drove to Iowa falls iowa to pick up a spanking new ircm for my car. I tried to sneak the part into my car while the dealership was open(in the day) the salesperson saw he and said does it work. I said i didn't try yet i turned the key and the ce light was still dim i said no. he said sometimes you need to reprogram the pcm for the part to work. so he said that he would have them look at it monday. does anyone know if that makes any sense "reprogramming the pcm"???

That is what I thought. I had to drive 400 miles to iowa to get the part!!!! I am very ****** off.

If the voltage going into the IRCM is bad you have something else wrong.

The salesperson said his guy checked the voltage going into and coming out of the ircm and the voltage going out was bad. He said they used a shop manual. I wish I had this manual
