Intrest for Gen3 Taurus/SHO headlight housings

I have been talking to several companies about making new headlights for the SHO and the Taurus. The only company that would talk to me about it was APC. They said that we need 250 for them to consider it, of course more is better. I realise that it is a pretty big number but I think with 6000 people we could get them, considering they are not made, in the aftermarket sense. So I am looking for intrest to see if we can get enought people. I know some people like to wait and see, well we cant do it this time. Either we get enought people and it goes through or we never get headlights made.

So this is to get intrest for headlights for the Gen3 Taurus and SHO.

They will be Euro style and cost around $350 for a set. They will be made by APC.

This would need to be at least an email address, as not everyone has it listed. If this goes through I want everyone to step up for it. I will keep up the list but go off of the most recent post.

Only put yourself down if you are intrested and will be able to afford it. I do not want to say we have 250 and only 10 people pay.

What does "euro style" mean? If they look like the rest of APC's products, I'm not interested.

for the GEN 3 you should see if they would just make the lens and reflector. It is easily replaced with the removal of four screws. This would be a lot cheaper and a sure hit I'm sure.

They will be a projector style. I think we will have some say in the design though how it is done will be up to APC. I am sure thought they will make an entire housing.

If you can tell or maybe even i pic of what they would like that would be cool i might consider it then. and try not to say euro thats not cool its an american car with a *** engine thats diverse enough but seriously if i we can see like a design or something i will seriously consider.

MHO is you will be lucky to get 25 people to buy them let alone 250. You will have to go the eBay route to sell that many.

What would really sell is the front lens assembly. It is easily swapped with just four screws holding to the reflector bulb holder piece. This could be sold for under $70 a pair (my guess) and still be profitable. There would also be a much larger demand.

If I could get just the lens then I would buy three or four sets. Change them out every two years.
