I would dread riding in a car with stock struts and Intrax springs. After having the tokico with Intrax, I feel that either the springs are a little too low and too harsh, or the struts do not have enough damping. Koni struts will work the best with the Intrax springs.

Take it from me. I have Intrax springs right now with Tokikos. As soon as I can afford it, I am switching to the Koni inserts. I can only imagine what kind of ride you would get from factory struts with Intrax springs. Save up, go in debt, but don't go down that path. You will have a horrible time getting someone who can get the alignment right with that combo.

Those struts will be shot in a week! Big no no. I have the intrax/bondurant setup and love it. You might be able to find a used set of bondurant struts maybe if you don't want to spend that much on koni's.

I disagree

I have the intrax/tokico setup and I like it alot.

There is no pogo affect..no clunking..the ride is actuall pretty decent and they don't sag. I would like the adjustability of konis, i just happened to get this setup.

I don't know where you would get the idea that the tokico and intrax setup is bad. Its a great setup.

Fred go for it, just make sure you replace the mounts..

Peter- don't use OEM struts, get new mounts and struts

save them for a rainy day, or sell them and use that money to help pay for some tokicos or konis thumb

I cant say how impressed i am with the Koni/Intrax setup. Its so nice to know that you can adjust from a harsh setting to practically back to stock, its way worth the money and if you are buying new struts and spring spend the few bucks more and get the konis they last you 100k miles and are simply the best, of course you'll never feel the full effect of suspenison unless you get the 17" wheels with a low profile tire...and imagine not having much body roll...

so no intrax and stock struts?
Dangit, if you can't use stock, what's the cheapest alternative with the Intrax?

The reason I'm going with Intrax is because of the price, around $170, any other suggestions, I don't want to resort back to stock, but I don't have the money for Tokiyos. :(

My suspension needs to get done immediatly also, so I can't wait!

then seriously wait and save the money you'll be happy you did, I got my kyb's on my ATX for like $32 a piece, but you pay for what you get, trust me. I would wait for the tokicos or post a WTB for a set you might be able to snag some decently cheap. I've seen a set of konis pop up on ebay for $375..
