Hey, I noticed my 10 SHO doesn't light around the rear door handles inside like the fronts. Is this normal? I checked out an edge today and the rear door handle surrounds are lit. Why doesn't the Taurus have the same feature?

****** me off when Ford puts less in there $45,000 cars than there $20,000 cars. Same as my 97 SHO versus my older 87 Taurus LX. I would have thought that they would add options but somehow, it had less. We can't blame it on the weight because the cars keep getting heavier and heavier.

My window lock is off and they don't light up. Also, the factory service manual does not show any LED wiring for the rear door release handles, but clearly identifies them for the front door release handles.

...sorry about that... my 5 year old always complains when I turn the window lock on because his "doors don't glow"... but I have and '11 SHO... Perhaps I should research before popping off!

You did bring up a good point with the window locks. The switch lights up when off and doesn't light when the window lock is on. I was referring to the handle bezel lights though. I know your aware of this now with the comment but wanted to mention I didn't know about the switch light with the window lock.
