intake wont square up?

hey guys i am putting my intake back together and i went to put the rear crossover pipe on and nothing lines up am i an idiot or is there some secret to putting this intake ack together:banghd:

make sure that the secondary runners are as close to the butterflies as possible on both sides.... loosen all the clamps and push it together...

thanx i ended up putting the intake on the ground and pushing down on it and putting two bolts in the brackets till i could tighten up the clamps thanx

I hope you put something under the intake before you pushed it into the ground! That's a milled surface, and pavement for sure will mark it up and make it difficult to seal up. Should have just undid the hose clamps, etc., bolted it all down, then tightened the clamps...

I had a real hard time putting my intake back on after assembly too. First off the crossover tube was difficult to get back on and I couldn't get it to seat on the intake at all. I just loosened up clamps and seated it, put the crossover on and tightened everything. Now I can put it on and take it off with no issues.
