I'm a little curious on the black rubber seals that hold the intake manifold together. When I did my timing belt I noticed when I took the section off where this DIS i looked at the gasket and the black gasket took up about half the inner diameter of the tube, is this normal? Basically what Im saying is you could cut the access rubber and get more airflow. Is this gasket suppose to be like this or is the gasket need to be replaced? Also I was thinking of downing the cam seals and main seal and 60K and need the rotunda kit for the stem seals and was wondering where I can rent one or buy one for cheap? All I know is im leaking maybe 1.5 quarts a change and it gets on my cats and smokes really bad when I run my SHO hard. I'm thinking its the cam seal where the CID is? If you look uder the car the oil pan is soaked in oil and it looks like the powersteering pump is wet with it thats why im thinking its the CID. Not to mention the ticking noise my car is making which I think its the valve adjustment needed?

the ticking is probably not the valve adjustment being needed. They are rarely the source of ticking noises

You can get a rotunda kit on ebay...they arent "cheap" persay, 150 to 300.

oil pan being soaked is probably the front main or the pan itself.

ok went under the car and the main seal might be leaking a little, also that cam seal where the CID is is leaking bad as well. What about the noise? What could it be? Also about the intake tube? Is that extra rubeer suppose to be there?
