Intake question

I have just installed a new intake. Its a pipe going to a cone filter all sensors are hooked up. The car is performing a lot better but the idle is ruff at times not always but once in a while it'll act up and check engine light will go on...is the ruff idle normal? Is there a cure for this?

Stock MAF?

Check MAF and Clean...

What could you use to clean it?

Are you sure the intake pipe is sealed correctly? I've had these symptoms when my intake tube came off, or paritally off due to not being tight enough. Do you have pics of this set up? How close is your maf/filter/intake?

Sounds like you let a cable unpluged or a house disconnected.

I wouldn't run the cone filter in the hot engine bay.
