So I pulled my intake off (2nd SHO intake I've removed) and cleaned the plug wells of oil. Also checked gap of all spark plugs, everything was great. I cleaned the lower part of the snakes, and into the lower intake manifold near the fuel injectors.
Then I tested my 0-60 after the work, previous avg. was 6.4 seconds. After the work, with a/c on, and a friend in the car, I got a 6.8 second run with a easy launch.

I guess after only 80K miles, the intake isn't dirty enough to need a cleaning, as I really didn't notice ANY difference.
I'm gonna try some more testing with the G-tech, see if I can lower my time more.

Every 10k the SHO intake is filthy. Try getting in there with a small brass bristle brush and really cleaning everything out, and also running the decarbon preocedure on the engine. We did it on a beautiful 92 with 60k, and you would not believe the amount of junk that came out.

me and SHO SPD are gonna clean my intake soon and i think it will be pretty filthy, so i'll let you know how it worked...one question, what is the best way to get oil out of the plug wells, b/c its starting to accumulate...thanks. also, is there an easy way to get into the back 3?

the back three are never easy unless you have the hood off, or the engine out of the car. With the intake off it's only a pain because you have to bend over under the hood for so long.
I use a squirt bottle and stick the tube end of the sprayer in the plug well, and squirt the excess oil into the bottle. Then I use the compressed air to blow any grime out of the plug well, only then do I remove the plug. after that I put shop towels over the end of a 3/8's extention and rotate it around in the well, that cleans the walls up. Then check the plugs for gap/condition, put die electric grease on plug wires, and anti-seize on the spark plug threads, and put it back together.

the procedure is on SHOTIMES.com, under care and feeding, udner decarboning procedure. Very straigtforward. Personally, I use a glass coke bottle, as they are 8oz and are very narrow to just stick in a corner to free your hand.

They are in my signature =)
But Jeremy is correct, I have the SHO shop linear lowering springs. And yes, not only does it appear very low, it is, and I have the dents in my subframe to prove it. hehe
