LOL. Good Sunday morning entertainment.
To the new kids who are studying to be the next great mechanic/technician/engineer, etc. Don't take everything so personally. You're learning stuff in school, getting paperwork to back up your education and that's great for the resume. In the real world it doesn't mean dick. And no, I'm not trying to be an a-hole, I'm being realistic. There's a lot of people on this forum that are hands-on, and have been for many years. Varying degrees of intelligence, experience, training, etc. One thing they have is hands on, many times over, with these cars. Listen to them. We know what we're doing, and we've been doing it for years. We know what works and what doesn't, and some of us actually know WHY it doesn't work, through education and hands on experience.
These cars are old. Everything, for the most part, has been done, tried, blown up, tried again, blown up, and repeated.
Now let's everyone relax before I gotta head over to that "motor mount monstrosity" thread and pick it apart.
