hey guys, I have never installed a headlamp b4 in my life, but I am guessing that it is VERY easy. But i dont know, because I have not tried nor looked @ the harness or anything yet. Anyway, I am buying the Sylvania Silverstars tomorrow (40 bucks!)to increase visibility and...I'll admit....for looks as well. Anyways, how exactly do you remove and replace the headlamps? Also, if you all know of any better headlight please let me know. Thanx guys, for listening my stupid question. thumbs_u

First,

You dont replace the headlights... you simply replace the bulbs :D

Anyhow, the drivers side bulb is easy to replace. The Passenger side is s bit more difficult because the battery likes to obstruct everything on the passenger side of the engine bay

it is easy, but if your like me :p you might need a visual:

And directions via the Ford workshop manual:

Bulb replacement/removal

1. Make sure headlamp switch is in the OFF position
2. lift hood, locate bulb assemblies
3. remove electrical connector from bulb by grasping wires and snapping connector rearward (carefully wink )
4. remove bulb retaining ring by rotating counterclockwise
5. carefully remove headlamp bulb from socket by gently pulling straight out of socket

BTW... dont ever touch the glass on your new bulbs thumbs_u As oil from your grimey hands will destroy them...
