installing digital climate control in 89 sho

i got it from 89 tauri waqon lx along with digi dash i have both installed but neither hooked up. the climate control omg looks crazy (wiring) ;( is it doable and how. what about the dash can i take it to ford to install or what thx

you will need more than just the digital climate unit, there are sensors and actuators in the dash you will need. Probably more of a hassle than its worth. The dash can be done, you'll need the sensor from the tranny and some wiring work done. Don't take it to ford. You'll be paying out your a$$ if they will even do it (they will probably tell you no)

The conversion process is quite involved, but it's doable. For whatever reason, Ford EATCs are generally not compatible from model to model, but at their core they all function alike. Here's how someone (who seems pretty sharp electronically) put an EATC from an Explorer into their Ranger. The process would be similar for a SHO, I have to think.
