I would make certain that the problem was not ignition before diving into the injector and its circuitry.

Swap the # 2 and #6 plug wires at the coil. Rerun the CBT and see if the problem moves to the #6.

Swap the plug between the # 2 and another cylinder, rerun the CBT.

If the CBT still points to the # 2 cylinder, then focus on the injector and its wiring.

a "lean" condition as indicated by the wbo2 sensor means there is too much oxygen in the exhaust. A misfire will cause that. You may not have a lean misfire, it dosn't really matter whats causing the misfire you will still get more oxygen out the exhaust when the misfire occurs even if its an ignition related misfire. I just had a similar problem on my SHO...cylinder 3 misfire from a bad plug wire causing my a/f meter to basically say there is a lean condition, but in reality the extra oxygen came from that cylinder misfiring.

Cats won't affect only 1 cyl.
I think he is concerned about the health of the cats after running with a misfire for an unknown amount of time. I think if your area has emissions testing....they could tell you by just getting an emissions test. If you have the factory Y-pipe, they are pretty bad about coming apart i believe. Every SHO i've owned so far has had the dreaded "white dust" in the cats. With the Y-pipe off the car i looked down in the bank 1 side and could see white flakes... which im pretty sure was the catalyst coming apart. Check out www.shotimes.com for more info...look under "what can **** a sho motor"

Thanks "CheckerSHO" for info. You made a good point.
not a problem :thumb:
I just noticed you have the SS Y-pipe...I doubt you would see the dust on those cats like the factory ones. If its coming apart you could hit it with a soft rubber hammer (gently!) and you should hear a rattling. Otherwise i wouldn't worry about it :D
