While driving around sometimes, the tach will sit at around 1300rpms, but it feels like it's sitting at the normal 8-900k. The tach also won't move until I get above the rpm it indicates, secondaries seem like they open at the normal time, but the tach indicates 300 rpms off. Should I be worried? The cam sensor was replaced about 3 months ago.

No worries. The tach is really just a voltmeter and is driven from the CPS through the DIS module. Great changes of temperature on the DIS can effect the indicated rpms.

Thanks Pat.

Sean it sounds like it's time for a giant 6 inch ricer tach..

I was thinking more along the lines of the backseat sized tach showing my redline to be 20k....
