Hey yall,

So I am just about at my wits end with trying to source a EEC/CCRM and underhood fusebox wire harness...I have a mess of cut up wires and connectors and portions of a 1990 and the original bastardized 1992 harness and trying to get all the connections done is pretty much impossible, I have plenty of experience with all the ins and outs of harness assembly and running but the overwhelming mess i have in front of me is the only thing in my way of getting this money pit back on the road...I've been without a car now for several months and my patience has run out. If anyone has a 1992 MTX that has any semblance of a mostly-intact or fully intact harness for the front end, specifically for the EEC and CCRM with all the happy connectors fornall the sensors and modules, I'll pay handsomely and immediately for anything that you might have. If it needs a little work, thats fine. What I have here is just a mockery. Please I hope someone on here has something for me, I've exhausted all other sources and contacts I have and really need to get this frigging thing done already.

Thank you, I look forward to any information about this, it would really mean a lot to me to get this thing running, not to mention the relief from the massive stress headache I've been suffering from because of this nightmare lol

not the same year, but for a 93 MTX. If you search on ebay for "SHO wiring harness", there is a seller that has a NOS 93 MTX harness. Perhaps someone on here may know if there were differences between the two years

I actually already bought one of those listed on ebay, it was for front dash to headlight junction harness, which only included the fuse box behind the strut tower, all the wiring for the front end lights, and also provisions for the ABS system and a few other body-related components, however it turned out to be for a non-SHO 3.0L, so a few connectors were correct, but the big BAS plug and several other major aspects of that harness were co.pletely incorrect for my application. I have since torn that harness completely apart trying to scavenge as many wire colors in bulk as I could so I could attempt to rewire the old busted up one, but it's just to far gone....I'll double check ebay, but I mean I've checked ebay and all the other part sources i could think of and those NOS dash to headlight harnesses (with or without ABS) are just not the correct harness for my application. Plus, the one I bought also didn't even have any of the major connectors or intermediate provisions for the whole entire CCRM situation, so that was essentially a waste of 160 bucks and the hopes that it would at least help me get it closer to being wired up. I'll look now, tho, even though I look online every few hours hoping some miracle will show up lol

And upon reinvestigating, the actual one you're referring to is more or less the dash-back harness, it'll only provide me the 1 foot or so of wire that is collected into a single square connector about a foot from the fuse box, but none of the actual front/engine/emission/eec/ccrm wiring. Unfortunately. But thx for the heads up, I may buy that anyway just to have it lol

I have a 91 parts car that I've only robbed a few things off of I'm pretty sure the wiring harness is in decent shape if that help let me know and I can go get it

It just might, I've been basically going wire by wire making sure the individual circuits from a 1990 harness work with the 1992 that I have...the biggest issues are where the main connectors are at the driver's firewall area, there's 1 big chunky connector that basically carries all the main power delivery from the interior/dash harness, like lights and gauge signal wires and all sorts of stuff that ive got to go 1 by 1 to match up with a completely different style of junction, so I have de-pinned everything basically and am doing it the hardest way possible pretty much. If u take some pics of that driver's side underhood area of the connectors that car has, I can better tell you if what you have will be better than what I have, or if it'll be the same as what I already have been battling with so far lol it's a lot of work let me tell you!
