Importance of stock intake when boosted.

Ive only got a few sketches right now. I doodled a bit more last night to work a few assembly issues out.

Ill try to get them scanned tomorrow. I still havnt hooked up my scanner to this new computer....

And yes, the runners (primary and secondary) share a common wall for about 3 inches.

I'm with Tim. for a cintrifugal blower or turbo, intake gometey plays a big part in bittom end VE. But for a PD blower, it makes no difference.
Ditch the snakes and strap the huffer down. Just be sure to have enough fuel. enough MAF and eniugh tuning to get the job done.

So are you going to use an intercooler or what? Also, for this type of intake, which i have a mental pic on what yours could look like b/c iv thought about this as well, but what would you do with the IAC valve and such? Things like that, does it matter where there mounted on the intake or what?

Im pretty sure the m90 has a IAC valve on it.

The M90 I Am Using Has Now Iac, Just The Blower. I Fabbbed Up An Iac Port On My Blower Intake, Pretty Easy To Do.

And A Longer Runner On A Pd Setup Will Aid In Torque Production, My Goal Wasnt Extreme Low End Torque So This Wasnt A Huge Issue, But If Torque Is What You Are After A Long Runner Is Necessary.

Right now Im just throwing ideas around on paper. ****, I dont even have an M90 in my hands yet. I have been scouring Ebay for various SC's. Anything that will do the trick Ive been watching. Im pretty cheap when it comes to car parts though.... especially when it is for a custom project, so it may take a bit


I cannot seem to get my scanner to work.... so until then....
