my 1995 sho atx randomly looses 2 cyl it will run awesome then all of a sudden it will loose 2 cyl then the will come back it looses spark in the 2 lower cyl on the coil pack i think it needs a coil pack. next can i just snag a coil pack off of a random taurus the same vintage at tie pic-n-pull?

It's amost always the DIS module that causes this symptom, not the coil pack.

No other Taurus uses the same coil of ignition systems. An SC T-Bird does use the same system.

thanks i think i will replace it i have been lookin at the cops set up that looks like a winner

this thing is goofy the more i drive it the less it acts up but when it does it is the same 2 cyl that loose spark

So, did you actually replace the DIS module with a known good unit or are you still screwing around?

i dont drive it much so i havent had time to go get one

on dice replaced DIS module dident fix it coil pack next
