The 3.2 L injectors flow a tad more than the 3.0 which helps compensate for the larger displacement

no, the computer recognizes the slight difference in displacement because the mafs reads more air going into the engine, and the computer knows what to do with that information so all is well. btdt.

What happens if the compression ratio changes? Does the computer need to be updated to accommodate? The CR for both 3.0/3.2 is about 9.8, right?

Ah what? Yes you do. The engines are not easily swapped, there are a lot of differences, the injectors being one of them, the engine wiring harness being another. There are differnces between mounting points, oil pans, front timing covers, alternators etc., etc.

What are you really wanting to do and why?
