idiot lights coming on

I just a 90 SHO on the road over the weekend and for some reason the low coolant and check oil light are coming on. And when they do, it stops all my electical things from working. Stuff like the stereo and windows wont work.
Now before we put it back on the raod, I am missing an intake bolt. it's the one cloest to the firewall and to the left of the intake. It's one of the 4 main bolts that hold the intake in place. I think their was a ground on it. But when we first starrting driving it, nothing was wrong, until I rmembered about that ground strap. So I put it back on the intake and that's when the coolant and check oil light came on. I filled the coolant and checked the oil and eveything is fine.
So can anyone give me any guess why the lights are coming on and why they are effecting my power acceriores.

Never heard of that...

did you just get this car? The beginning of your post does not indicate the history of the car.

I would have to thing there is a short in the wireing somewhere.

I'm sure others will chime in.

I've had the car maybe a year now but this is it's first being on the road. After sitting in my backyard since the day we trailered it home.
My dad drives it now and he says yeaterday, the coolant and oil ight came on right away and goes off after a while and came back on. And late on in the day he statred it and they didn't come on. So yeah, it could ne a short. But the fun part is finding out what it is and where it is

If both lights are coming on simutaneously, replace your ignition switch.
