OK, I love my SHO, but in three days, it will be going to the junkyard unless someone can help me please. I have baffled four mechanics, two wiring guys, and the ford dealers. My ICM (relay box) keeps blowing. The fuel pump is brand new, i have put three new icms in it and they all burn up (smoke actualy rises) within three hours. The car will start and run for a while wih a new ICM but then stalls and won't start due to the fried module. Also, the fuse link leading to the module burnt out once, and the mechanic shortened it and replaced it too. It has 114K on it, and has the most gorgeous interior ever...no rips or wear marks, and it runs perfect, so I hate to see it go. All mechanics have told me it is a total loss and to junk it...can this relly be??? Has my sho really let me down this hard??? Please help

You need to determine which circuit is burning out. You will then find an overload in that one.

You can download electrical diagrams from http://www.ford-taurus.narod.ru/

The site is in Russian and is slow, but it is there.

Select 1990 and download diagram #16. See page 4.
