As far as the hard spot in the steering, did you put the fatter bushing half on top or on bottom?

Did you align the subframe with the alignment holes in the front of the unibody?

i put the cup on top as ive done in my other cars....and yes i used a 1/2 extension to make sure its alighned.....im going to retorque them on the ground today and see if that helps.

Did you weld the front strut mounts yet or install the repair kit?? If so, what were your results?
