Magnaflow mufflers do a very nice job of providing both. We offer them for about $100ea. Oh yeah, they're in stock too.

I've got the 2.5" side by side. For a more direct fit get the 2" side by side.

And they are guaranteed forever. I've had mine for over 5 years in Illinois and they show no sign or corrosion.

The Bullets Sound Great. The Magnaflows do too, they are a bit quieter IMO. Also, Magnaflow offers a tip that is similar, but larger, than the stock SHO tip if you need tips too.

Well, I have had the OEM ones since the car was new, in Nova Scotia until a year ago and now out on Vancouver Island, and the OEM mufflers as yet show no sign of rust or corrosion of any sort either. And I refuse to replace mufflers that still work fine, so one day, maybe, I will eventually get to try out something new too, but obviously not today.

I agree with SHO Dude ... Magnaflows. The sound is great. (However on the SHO no muffler is going to increase HP by all that much.)

Has anyone used Super Trap muffs yet ??? Something I noticed playing around w/two SHOs w/the same muffs and one w/out the res/cat and one with, is that these cars are very sinsitive to back presure changes.
With Supertrap muffs, the back presure/sound can be dialed in by adding or deleting defuser discs. They sure look good as well and are made of stainless. They mey be expensive, but no other **** is as versitile.

this is gonna sound crazy.... but its just an idea...

mix match mufflers... run one X-brand and another X-brand.... only thing you have to worry about, is the flow rate... They have to be close, and even if they are a ways off, just run the high flow muffler on the driver rear side, and the less flow on the pass. side.
I think that would be one different sound!!!! and you cant see the mufflers so no one would know the difference.
but you car your money.....

this might be something us GII guys might look into.... just something different....

The cheapest place to get the Bullets is DC Car Care through Don Mallinson. They will be the last muffler you buy for the car.

Yes and don't forget it!!

Actually I live in the salt belt and have had these mufflers for 5 years. The pipe in front and tips behind have all rotted away but the muffler itself looks good as new. As I have been told Bullet has never had to replace one under their lifetime warranty.

I have heard these on cars with the third cat and resonator still on and they are quiet until the go pedal is opened. Mine with the third cat gone and no resonator has a very noticeable deep rumble. Still not obnoxious on the highway though.
