I need help finding the oil pressure and water temp sending units !!!!!

I'm having serious issues trying to find where I can hook up the oil sender unit to read oil pressure and finding where I can tap into to read water temp for my LED gauges on my 95 ATX...can somebody please help me ???

The Water temp sensor that kicks the fan on is to the rear and below the throttle body. It threads into the aluminum water manifold that connects the heads.

The engine temp sensor (for the guage) has a single wire connected to it and is threaded in to the front side of that same manifold.

The oil pressure sending unit is on the back side of the block, near the transmission side of the engine. Basically, your foot points right at it when it's on the gas pedal.

Thanks a lot ..what is a easy way to get to the oil pressure unit ?

I have to ask, why are you wanting to change these 2 specific sensors?


is the oil light coming on at idle?

I think it's a little more tight up there with an ATX.
yea me and this guy had it on the lift and we looked under the car and could barely see it between the tranny n motor I dont even think I could get to it from the bottom ...
