I need to know what jet sizes on our motor equal what approx. HP. I have an .030 jet, and an .061. To me, I'd butt dyno the .030 at about 25-30hp, but I need to know what sizes to buy so I can be up around 150-175hp (to blow it up later :thumb:

that's a hard number, N20 is pretty temp sensative. If it's cold out, it'll make a load of power. If it's hot, it won't make near as much.

I'd consider 60-70 degrees the "norm", anything below you'll make more, anything above, you'll make less.

On the SHO V6, 32 main jet is probably 50-60 hp. 36 is ~75 hp, 38 ~85, 40 is 90-100, 42 is 100-110.

My experience, based on dyno pulls and ET/MPH gains at the strip. Typically 10 hp is gonna net you 1 tenth ET, and 1 mph. With a dry kit, I never saw any increase past a 42 jet. Likely just running out of fuel.

Swap the pills around. Put the .061 in the nozzle and the .031 in the fuel pressure tee.

That should do it.

There's a jet in the tee for the fuel pressure regulator.

Swap them around and it'll make *The* Noise.

I can hear it now, "Pulled like **** in first and second..."

dude i just got my direct port wet system with a 100hp NOS and i'm telling you i smoked a ford f150 lighting 13.00sec truck, wrx 12.98 sec SRT-4 13.50 sec CARs ma car is sooooo FAST i'm not sure what i do on a 1/4 mille yet ( wet track)this days , but soon !! i'm so HAPPY

isn't the wet systems a no no on the SHO engine? i'm not really sure, not something i have put alot of research in to yet. sound like fun though.

what is a good direct port kit? I found a coldfusion, NOS and one other kit and they are nice, but the six cylinder distribution blocks always seem poorly thought out for the prices. also does the NOS only have one solenoid for N2O?

direct port, that is ok to use a wet system? man i have to look this stuff up, i want to install a small boost of n2o in the future. (google time)

This manifold is still for sale. Pilled for about 130hp and worked great for me.

My cold fusion wet kit sigle nossle 100hp give me 260.9 hp 290Tq , (runnig very rich on gas ) then i bought direct port 280HP 310TQ all DYNO clutch holds perfetc now i'm about to run 125 direct port b4 i'll put a TURBO + NOS
too many trips to fill my bottle got me thinking !!! chepaer a turbo in a long run ..... right guys ?

ohh forgot No NOS 199hp 195 Tq only have Y-PIPE and full exaust DYNOMAX , nology wires and accel coil

Damn, Jayparot those are some AWESOME numbers. Makes me want to run a big shot direct port nitrous system.

Im getting my tranny built in about 2 months and I was planning on a 100 dry shot with a TwEECer for a little extra fuel. That should be plenty fast to beat up on some quick foreign cars. I figure by late spring next year it will be a F/I car.

thats sounds nice !! the fast and furios w/ NOS lol my car beat a ford F150 lightingning thats a 13.00sec truck and STR4 and a few WRX 9 not sti )0 havent found one arround yet lol
