This started 3 days ago.....weird happenings.
3 things:
For some reason the climate control unit will just start and stop on its own....just goes totaly blank. When I come to a stop or put it in nuetral......it lights up and starts again......once I rev up or take off.....she shuts down.
Then my ABS light flashes the code 22.
Then my Antilock brake light stays on.
How is it that all 3 of these items go haywire on me at same time??

Its funnny how when all of this hapens I notice that when I run the power windows....they go up and down fast! Like they have more power.
Now I thought it was the battery.....so I put a brand new one in.
I had my charging system checked. All is ok. I even have a 3 month old alternator which checked out fine.
I checked all of my grounds. Did I miss one?
Is there a short somewhere?
I ran the ECC codes and got the usual ones about my aging O2 sensors.

Now how can I trace this problem and get it resovled?
Driving me to drinkin!

The only way that the windows can move more quickly is due to a higher voltage. What was the voltage of the electrical system (measured at the battery terminals) at idle and at a higher engine speed.

And it sounds like there is more voltage available for the windows when your fault occurs.

Sounds like an intermittent connection somewhere. Time for a test light and/or meter along with the schematics.

I do not see a common power point for the EATC and the ABS systems. However, they do share a common ground at the fenderwell per the diagrams.
