apprently ive gotten myself in over my head with all the issues this thing has and i no longer know where to start. Im at the point of driving this thing off a cliff but since FL is at sea level... we seem to be fresh outta those.

The problem: seems how i paid $500 for it you knew there were those...

about 8 months ago(at lest the story previous owner stated) the ps pump went out. Guy appearently didnt have time/money to fool with so he parked it. (claiming nothing else wrong w/it). So it sat for pretty much the duration. When i went to buy it... and still... the darn thing runs like total garbage. (although it cranked right up after a jump). At idle it runs with a slight miss... but put it in park... and it is the most sluggish sounding thing you've ever heard. It takes 50 forevers to accelerate and wants to shut off when you have it in gear (although it rarely ever does).

Things Ive done since purchase:
-Complete fluids change (minus PS fluid... waiting for new pump)
-Fuel treatment (the $20 good sh*t)/ ran through complete tank of 93
-Cleaned intake/ TB/ new filter
-plug change(didnt know if coils/wires even went bad.)
-new battery(if that makes any difference)

all this and still no improvement.

First of all... any suggestions.

second... any mechanic out there need a vacation... Rooms on Panama City Beach going for real cheap(and I have the hookup seeing how my bro is GM for one of them). I'll buy the 12 pack. Seriously... no mechanic here wants to touch the SHO.

I noticed that back in July you had posted about those codes and got a response on what to do to fix them. Have you tried any of those suggestions?

P1130 Lack Of HO2S11 Switches - Fuel Trim At Limit *
P1131 Lack Of HO2S11 Switches - Sensor Indicates Lean *
P1413 Secondary Air Injection Monitor Circuit Low Input *
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)

This should give some idea of what's going on. Usually a 0171 is a vacuum leak or an DPFE or something to do with the egr system. The 1131 should be an o2 sensor. Hope this helps. If need be, more info on TCCA topicfinder, they have the egr codes spelled out for you.

Serious?

130, 136 and 142 deal with O2 sensor circuit malfunctions.

230 deals with the fuel pump primary circuit malfunction.

All electrical problems, which in turn will throw the codes you've posted previously (lean condition, etc).

It sounds to me like you may have a harness either unplugged or damaged or some fuses blown. I'd check the fuses and wiring harnesses, and work my way from there.

Fuel trim at limit: The computer will adjust how much fuel is injected based on readings from the O2's, MAF sensor, etc. What this code is telling you is that the computer has added as much fuel as it's allowed to, and there's still a lean condition (too much air, not enough fuel).

DPFE is a Differential Pressure Feedback EGR sensor. This does a better job of explaining it than I could: http://www.tomco-inc.com/Catalog/dpfe sensors.pdf

Verification of the wiring harness and the fuse box to check for blown fuses would be a start, then the o2 sensors to see if anything produces itself.

I would concentrate on the lean part. If it's lean it will run like shit. You probably have a big vacuum leak somewhere, or a fuel pump not putting out enough pressure.
Find a competent mechanic if your not comfortable, and let them see what they find. Does the car run bad cold or just when it warms up? If it runs bad all the time an o2 sensor will not cause this. o2 sensor data is ignored by the pcm until it goes into closed loop operations, usually within 2 minutes of start up. so if it runs bad right when you start it don't go buy o2 sensors until you get whatever else is going on fixed first.

runs bad 100% of the time...

just at idle it doesnt miss that bad... when I put in gear it runs like garbage

clean the MAF sensor. Ive had t-birds run so terrible i thought the motor and the tranny were shot. if that sensor is dirty enough (and ive seen them get there) then you can most definitely assume your air/fuel ratio is way outta wack.
