Got the on/off button going crazy, HVAC cycles on/off sometimes pretty rapidly. You have to use the actual touch screen as the lower controls are deemed useless during this. But doest matter it'll shut right off/on anyway as the actual touch button is being triggered.
Concussive therapy used to reset it and it would be great for a week, but I can't risk breaking my hand again, the last time I hit it I was seeing stars I hit the ****** so hard.
I'm assuming there are just a bunch of touch sensors behind the plastic screen, or maybe there is lint/debris that's bridging the gap and causing false senses/touches.
Has anyone split this unit apart to see what the guys look like?
OE replacement is $500 and the aftermarket full touchscreen won't allow for hvac use with remote start.
