How can I eliminate the annoying squeaking when the clutch is depressed. If I'm short shifting around town I don't hear it, but if I really get on it, it squeaks like an old screen door spring. I've lubed everything I could get to I thought. This includes the white plastic plunger for the switch. Still sqeaks loudly. Any suggestions of what to do next. Has done this for the last 15K miles.

It's definitely the pedal that's squeaking. It's loud enough that with the windows all up and a stock exhaust, it sounds very annoying. The clutch itself is only baout 20,000 miles old if that helps. Could the cable be crapping out on me?

My girlfriend's '90 Stanza has the same problem... it's definitely the pedal. I guess just keep looking for places to grease, it's gotta be around the somewhere.

You sure that's not a motor mount squeaking? Check your intake for shiny spots.
