I am replacing the front main seal.
I have the engine torn down and can not get the oil pump housing off the engine to replace the gasket and rubber bottom seal.
I have the crank seal out and ran two timing bolts into their threaded holes on each side of the housing, I've tried using a pry bar slowly on each bolts but the housing only moves about 1/4" before it just stops.
It seems to be caught on the rear side of the housing (left if your looking straight at it ).
I've taken out the two bottom bolts and four front bolts, what am I missing? How do I get this ***** off?
